Today Ethan and I ran a few errands today in search of a few more items needed for the fun project I mentioned in my last post. And did I ever find them! And at such amazing prices too! I am going to hold my tongue for ONE more day (this gives me a deadline LOL) and tomorrow evening you will see what this was all about.
In my thrift store searching, I did come across some other amazing deals that I could NOT pass by. Those I'll share. :) There was this adorable little table that probably will sit sadly for another month or so until I gather some more pieces to go with it and finish a few of the projects I have underway. We are under a major home remodel at the moment (and that the biggest clue I'm giving to the project above!)
We have been in our home for a little over a year now, but last year all the spare $$$ and time was devoted to the outside. We created a garden spot which I will share pictures of on one of these upcoming days where I don't have anything special to blog about. We planted flowers and basically Learned how to take care of a yard! We've never really had one before, and now we have a pretty large beautiful one. But I'm getting off topic-We are remodeling the inside now!
So this pretty white table will grace our bedroom as soon as I find the other pieces to go with it.
Have you ever been thrift shopping and hit the MOTHER-LOAD? Well, that was how I felt today, everything I was looking for just landed in my lap. I was passing through the craft row and found a HUGE box of vintage patterns. OMgoodness, I was tickled! I got 27! And the best part? They were 10 CENTS (yes, a dime) each. All 27 of them only cost me $2.70. I was so excited about it! Here are some of my favorites!
Then when I came home, one of my fellow Jayne groupies, Becky of Ambrosia Couture, sent a link to an amazing sale at MaterialgirlsQuilts. Amy Butler Belle, Girlfriends, Flea Market Fancy and more all on sale for $3-4 a yard!! Wow-I had to get some! I got this print for Eliza's Easter dress. The fabric that would have cost me $60 only came to about $15. Check it out!
