My Favorite

             

With all of the "tag" posts going around and me not getting invited to play on any of them (sniff sniff) I just decided to start my own.  :)

And with the wealth of new designer blogs to peek at, I decided to make it "My Favorite..."  The rule is it has to be something you have created, and it must be your favorite.  I always wonder what design was someones favorite..So this will be a fun way to find out! 

So here goes-my favorite design I have ever done is my Kimono Set.  It was the first set I ever did under the name Portabellopixie.  It was the first thing I ever did with Amy Butler fabric.  It was the first thing I ever photographed with my camera.  I love this design.  It was the start of basically everything that has been good in my business. 

While it seems silly to talk so deep about a child's outfit, for me the outfit is just a symbol of everything that has happened for me because of my business.  It isn't my favorite actual design, that would probably be "Beautiful."  But I'm so emotionally attached to that first outfit, that it is taking the spot for My Favorite.  Even though now I see that the pictures are terrible, and the flowers in Eliza's hair look like horns, I still love it.  :)

I have the luxury of owning the Kimono Set! It is STUNNING and I cannot wait to photograph Ayrington in it as soon as spring rolls around! ...but, I am not sure if its my favorite!! Because ALL of PORTABELLOPIXIE'S creations are so fabulous, I can't choose just one!! *hugs*

You can't possibly imagine how much I wish I had a little girl to be able to buy some of your designs for her! Maybe a granddaughter for her someday! Thanks for posting your challenge -- I took it to heart and posted my favorite thing that I've done -- I didn't see many other players though! Did I miss something??? ;-)
