So look what showed up on my doorstep from Sheree a few days ago! Gorgeous euro fabrics to play with. How lucky am I? Sheree is in the beginning stages of putting together an Etsy Shop that will be called Sheree's Alchemy. What a great name is that?! She'll be selling off some of this (which I want to roll around in and have a love child with), check her blog for details and dates to be announced! Sheree has also started giving away fabric, so make sure you check her out. We all love free fabric!
Next up-lucky person number 2. My little giveaway has ended, and the winner has been selected by Eliza. I tried to let Ethan have a go at winner selection-but he tried to pick about 50 of you. Sorry guys, the job was handed to the eldest sibling. The winning ticket goes to Kim. As sad as I was for the rest that didn't win, I'm excited for Kim too! We have had the pleasure of meeting in person and she is a little bundle of fashion and just the most inspiring person ever! She has totally turned me on to Target online - did you know that they are making bags out of Amy Butler's fabric? Kim is also the person that turned me on to my favorite word lately-Juxtaposition. I use it every day and even when I'm designing something now-I think "that's isn't juxtaposition enough yet.." Basically it means contrast. :)
To all of you awesome-ies that didn't win, don't fret (that seems to be my phrase lately), more fun drawings will be had!
OH, do you like my new plates? I got them at the dollar store would you believe it? I got them..well 1) because we really needed new ones-and 2) for use as a photo prop relating to Ginger Blossom. I have green ones too! Very Fresh and Juxtaposition wouldn't you agree? Maybe they need some purple flowers on the table?
:)
Sandi

The plates are beautiful - I have some Fiestaware and they remind me of that!

Congrats Kim!!!
I love the plates. I need to check my dollar store more often, this is the second time in the last 2 weeks that I've heard of great buys there.

Congratulations Kim! Cute plates! I think it's better to stay home and admire all this cute shopping from afar so I'm not tempted.

Hey Sandi!
I am glad the fabrics arrived safely and that you like them. Can't wait to see what you make with them.
Kim is a lucky lady. I am looking forward to seeing what she gets from you.
Love the plates too--can't believe they were $1. Still anxiously awaiting the fabric previews. Saving up some cash for a nice little order. :)

I've been trying to find the green tote with Amy Butler fabric since spying it on Megan's(CreativeOutletDesigns) blog but of course they're sold out at any Target's near me. :oP
I do like your new plates, but I'm still drooling over those apple bowls. I've been scouring eBay for them. teehee. :o)

Isn't Kim just the cutest thing!
I've been away for a little over a week so how behind I am. I'll definetly check out Sheree for fabric.
Those apple bowls are killer!!! What chain did you get them from? We have Dollar General here.

FYI, not to be picky or anything, but juxtaposition is a noun. The way you are using it, the correct word would be juxtapositional (Adjective). It can even be used as a verb, but that form of the word is juxtapose.
