Corn

I must admit that when I planted those tiny 4 rows a few months ago, I didn't think we would actually be eating corn come fall.  But look what's on the menu for dinner tonight!  Right from our backyard.  Actually, the kids are munching on them right now, I didn't even get the chance to cook them.  Which is actually very nostalgic to me.  The one memory I have of a family garden is that it was a big flop (sorry mom and dad) but that for some reason the corn grew and my dad and I sat in the yard eating raw corn one fall evening.  Ahh memories..

My Grandma taught me to squeeze a fresh lime on my corn and add salt. No butter needed. OMGosh its the best. Im sure it would be TDF on your homegrown corn. YUM!

Yummy! We are eating some California corn right now! DELISH! Way to go, sandi! My own homegrown stuff turned into Indian Corn for decor, I'm afraid. LOL
