Yummy - I'm actually having a cookie party tomorrow and WAS going to make coconut macaroons but after seeing those cherry shortbreads I am now off to buy maraschino cherries!! Thanks for the link!!

I made the peppermint pinwheels. They are in the freezer but they did not roll very well. cracked. I hope they turn out when I bake them.
