Sorry guys..sorry sorry sorry. It's been busy busy busy 'round here. I loved all your questions and will post the Q&A post tomorrow. But I had to pop on real quick and let all the locals (and any non locals that are interested) know that I'm having a Modbe shindig. Do you all know about Modbe? It's one of the very few home party deals that I actually jump at the chance to go to!
Modbe was started by a mom entrepreneur who was tired of not being able to find cute clothes that were modest. All of the shirts, jeans, skirts and swimsuits are modern, cute, fun and are modest at the same time. I'm not a prude, but I'm also not a fan of bellies hanging out and butt cheeks a peepin'.
SO! If you are interested in acquiring some Modbe goods and are in the area, shoot me an email and I'll give you the details. My "party" is Friday night if you want to come, but you can just place an order also. If you're not local and would like to order something anyway, that's fine, they will just tack on $5 to your order and ship your goods right too you. (You pregnant gals that I know could jump on this as the shirts are extra long and while they aren't maternity, works perfectly for those baby bumps.)
That black polka dot suit is on it's way already...

I'm totally intrigued by their style but their site is ridiculously slow. You will look so cute in that suit with your red hair.

I'd love to place an order. Would you let me know how. I am not local.
You have such great style. Thanks for sharing this!

Very cool stuff! What a great idea. :)

Hey Sandi! What a great idea. The clothes are cute, too... On another subject, do you know where I can get Ginger Blossom in corduroy? I haven't been able to find it. Thanks!

Wow, cute stuff! I love your line.."butt cheeks a poppin" can't seem to unpop that out of my head, lol. Yeah, I love to find clothes that are covering but cute! Thanks for sharing!

oops you said peeping, lol It's late, I'm going to bed!

Do you have a MyModbe electronic storefront? I'd like to place an order. I tried searching for someone local but couldn't get the search to work without erroring out. Their site is also so slow... But adorable clothes that are long enough for us tall gals to wear to work without the dreaded belly flash!

peepin' butt cheeks. lol I totally anthropomorphized that one. Yeah, it's getting late.

I definitely would like to order the Charmain jeans and a swimsuit, so please put me in contact with your consultant so I can place an order. AND I agree, their website is way too slow!

I love Modbe... I just went to a swimsuit party last week and have already received the 2 I ordered. Their swimsuit line this year is unbelievably cute!

I'm also interested in ordering one of the swimsuits. I had a baby four months ago and love the coverage they offer! Let me know how I can order.

Never heard of the company until now but they have some really cute clothes! I am really liking the Re-zip Hoodie!

Their site is TOOOOO SLOW! ARGH! I can't seem to get ANY of the swimsuit images to show larger either. Kind of hard to determine if you like a suit with a thumbnail sized photo. I would LOVE to get one of these for my 18 year old. She does not like to hang out of her suits.

Cute clothes. I was thinking about ordering before, but the consultant in my area is, shall we say, not very diligent at getting back to people. Love the swimsuits!
Posted by: Kristin | April 25, 2008 at 09:28 AM
Sandi, I was just wondering if I live in your area? I think I might.

I love the swimsuits this year! I saw them a couple weeks ago and fell in love with that seafoam green/ ivory ruffle number. Is your party closed yet?
Posted by: Amber | April 28, 2008 at 02:53 PM
Oh no, I missed this! I would love to order one of these swimsuits in a couple of weeks. After having twins, let's just say my body will never be. ;o) Let me know how I could order so that you might get credit?
Thanks! :o)
