These are gorgeous! We went up for my sister's wedding last Sept. (in Portland) and I loved it - such a fun city. We just can't handle the cold so we'll stay put here :-) (and my sister and her hubby are now moving back to Hawaii!)

Can you open some kind of store that is open 1 day a week so we can all have an excuse to come VISIT that beautiful part of the country? And meet you!? haha!
We are in Texas and it may look similar to that around Austin in the hill country, but wow, nothing like those pics near Houston!

You are such an inspiration and I am counting down till my Farmer's Market ships from Michael Miller...come on Aug 15! It's truly the most beautiful fabric I have ever seen, can't wait to get and create with it.
Thanks for doing what you do!

What inspiring gardens! Thank you because I was just posting about gardening myself!

Holy Smokes, so very beautiful! That's just good for your soul all that green isn't it!

Isn't it just beautiful! I love the Pacific Northwest...I guess that's why I never moved from the Portland/Vancouver area!

Sandi...you really need to come on over here

Sometimes living here you can take for granted how really gorgeous it is. It is nice to see it through your eyes- it's a good reminder how beautiful a spot this is. Where in Oregon are you thinking of settling in?

I wish I still lived there. I miss my family most of all! We tried to live there for awhile, but Justin couldn't get over the rain and the constant gray/white sky. Depressed him a bit. Me, I love it (cause I grew up with it) but I have to admit, the blue sky year round really is beautiful.
Gorgeous photos. Thanks for making me miss home. I think I'll go cry myself to sleep. JK! Call me and I'd be happy to give you the lowdown on areas. . .

Oh my those are gorgeous fields! The Pac NW IS beautiful. I even LIKE gray and rainy days (good excuse to stay inside and sew!!!)

Wow, Sandi! That first photo is just AMAZING! Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your 4th!

Great photos! They make me want to go find the beauty of my own state, thanks!

That is gorgeous! I would love to see that part of the country.

Wow! That is right out of a movie scene! Those are such a pretty color! I want to move there with you!!! I think you are grown up enough to move there!

Kira =]

LOL! Yeah it does look like the Princess Bride. Such a funny film. Glad you found a beautiful place like the countryside instead of the fireswamp. =]

I love Orgeon too for the that reason. It's so green and lush. I remember seeing moss growing on the curbing when we were there at market too! LOL

Yay! We'd love to have you here!

Violet Craft

Oh please, oh please, do move here! We'd love to have you!!!!

Gorgeous!!! It does look amazing out there.

I can not tell you how big the smile was on my face when I pulled up your page and on came The Pogues. Oh how I love The Pogues. Lovely darling :)

Wow, are those tulips growing in the first picture? That is amazing!! I've never been to Oregon. Well I've flown over but that was 20 some odd years ago.

I just love driving through Oregon, imagining actually living there. Won't happen. If we head out to a dream place to live, it will be in Montana.

Absolutely beautiful. It really does make me want to think about relocating. Of course, there are beautiful areas around here too and I have a sneaky suspicion that if you came and photographed them, they'd look luscious too!

Anyway, love the Princess Bride reference. That's exactly what it reminds me of. If you're a fan and haven't seen this t-shirt:
you might enjoy it.
