On Eliza's first day of school, her backpack was mysteriously gone. We made do with the little backpack that came free with her bike but it wasn't a very good permanent solution as it is only about 8" by 8". So I went to the store and found nothing that I liked. So you know what that means...
Eliza really loves messenger style bags - any bag she ever carries ends up across her shoulder messenger style so that's what we went with! She helped pick out the fabrics - the Ginger Blossom Vintage Dot is corduroy. (The fun bunny / critter print cord is from Joannes!) The bag has little ties on the sides to accommodate varying sizes of loads, perfect to get her through a couple years of school. We have a boy version in the works..
Thank you so much for the bids on the pincushion! Just a reminder that the auction ends tonight at midnight MST or in about 3 hours!
Oh-and I know I owe you pictures of the new couch and pillows. Currently the living room is holding grounds for our bedroom as there has been some remodeling going on in there too. You'll see soon.
Ta ta for now!

Adorable as always Sandi!

Very cute. i just bought the same critter cord print at Joann's. I was thinking fall jumper. Now I may have to get some of the vintage dot in corduroy to go with it...
Nice job.
