Since I kissed his cheeks.
Since I gave him a piggyback ride.
Since we played "wedicwopters". (Helicoptors)

Since I heard he wanted to be a Shark for Halloween.
Since I've seen this:
or this: (oh! pang to the heart.)
He'll be home in 2 hours.
After which I will not let him out of my sight.
Until next week when I have to do it again.
I am often asked if there is a bummer part to my job. No situation or job is perfect but we make the most out of the path we've chosen. And I suppose getting away guaranteed twice a year isn't all that bad. But oh, it can be hard.

What a cutie! Enjoy your time.

There are no words. . .and I agree wholeheartedly.

Oh that must be so hard for you! Good that you can get your last minute crunch time in when you need it most. Tough to let the little one be gone so long. Absence definitely makes the heart grow fonder!

Always hard to be away from your kids! Especially when they are adorable as yours are. Good luck with Market. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help!

Your children are beautiful! I also enjoy the music you put on your blog. Very fun...I think we have similar tastes in music. You might want to try Joss Stone, Corinne Bailey Ray, and any of the songs from the Legends of the Fall soundtracks.

Hey! We saw him at the park on Saturday and he and LKJ had a grand time. I don't know how I would handle it if either of mine were gone for a whole week. . .but now you have him back and all is well, right? :)

I can't imagine how much you have missed him. I can't get up the nerve to leave my two with a babysitter....and I have a 5 year old.

Now that is sweet! Brought a tear to my eye. Maybe because I miss my babies (they're just at preschool for 3 hours, but now I just can't wait to give them each a big bear hug). Those pictures are absolutely precious!!!!

Oh Sandi, I can't imagine going more than a day without chubby cheek kisses. You're going to make me cry. I bet you're squeezing him tight now (and doesn't he look like a daddy-clone?)!
