I'm not certain, but I think the flower is called "stock". Not a pretty name for such a pretty and sweet smelling flower!

Kim McBirnie

It's difficult to tell, but they look like delphiniums to me. Don't know if you know them by a different name in the US?
Have you seen the Twilight film yet - and if so what did you think? (I read the books after your recommendation!)

Stephanie

It looks like stock to me too. Yummy!

Lola...again

It is stock! ....at least that is what we call it at the floral. It has such a great smell, and you can eat it too. I have eaten it on salad before (really!) It kind of tastes like a raddish.

Kristin

Another vote for stock! :) Such a pretty flower....one of my faves!

Amber

I love Danielle Thompson's blog - so beautiful.

Have you seen these skin products:
http://www.mychelle.com/

I've used them before and really like them.

Stephanie

I think they are stock, they have a beautiful scent, one of my favourite flowers scents.

barbara@quiltsoup

I think the flowers are stock. You are looking mighty glamorous these days. Keep up the good work. I look forward to chatting you up at the next quilt market. We have many mutual friends.

Angel

I think you're so cool, such a lovely person and an inspiration. :)

Kerith

I love layersclothing.com and dhccare.com. DHC has olive oil based skin care line which works great on my skin. I sure wish I knew what those flowers are. What a great idea to buy fresh flowers once a month!

Rory

I get all my cool stuff from etsy. I did find a cool photography blog for moms called momtog.com

PS..love danielle thompson

Maranda

Lovely flowers and a great interview:)

Friendly florist checking in and yes, most of your commenters are correct: you definitely have yourself some stock there. I've always thought it was such a disappointing name for such a pretty flower...

mo

I think it is stock. Do they smell sort of like carnations? If so, they are stock. I love that smell! I use Boscia Intensive Night Moisture. I get it at Sephora and it is great. I have very very sensitive skin and this works really well. And it smells niiiice.

Sandi, Thanks for the plug. You might also mention that readers can use party #1360 at checkout to save 10% on three or more items. Also, take a peek at my favorite shoe site www.endless.com. Free shipping on most shoes and free return shipping if they don't fit as expected, etc. I'm addicted.

Isn't this Sandi H fabric on the Ottobre design Magazine site!?

That's awesome!

Congrats on your interview, it is always fun to get to know people. I loved that swim suit, especially the color...you know it is suppose to be the universal color, everyone is suppose to be able to wear that color.....as far as skin care, I have recently found Neutrogena oil free eye make-up remover and moistuizer (Walmart) that I quite like! :)

Jen

I just got some more of your fabulous fabric in today and the ruffle pants pattern!! YAY! I can NOT wait to make them. Beautiful flowers and I am glad to know the name, I want some!! :) A friend of mine *makes* facial cleanser and such that is all organic. I don't have her link right off hand but I will find it.

Roni

I just read the fabric.com blog post. Congratulations on your book! I can't wait to see it! When will it come out, and who is publishing it?

Missy Severson

I love Philosophy skin care. http://www.philosophy.com/web/store/dept_skincare____23503?cm_re=navigation-_-mainnav-_-skincare

I read about it in a magazine and decided to try it. Sephora sells it and I have found great kits at great prices at QVC too.
I have been using it for several months and it makes my skin feel amazing.
