How is everyone's summer going? We're busy in our neck of the woods but it's all in good fun! We had my sister for a few weeks and we got in plenty of girl time mixed in with some modeling for upcoming pattern / book projects.
What a beauty-
Everyone always tells us how much we look alike and it always bothered me. Not because I don't think Shelbi is beautiful but I guess I've got a little bit of Voldemort in me (getting ready for the movie!) and like to be a bit unique. However.. I think they're right. Out of all our siblings, dang. When I was editing the pictures of her that are for the book, I would walk past the computer and think that there were pictures of me in high school on the screen. I'll see if I can scrounge some up.
(I just realized how conceited it sounds to talk about how beautiful my sister is and then talk about how much we look alike! Oh well, didn't mean it like that. But if the shoe fits, I'm certainly not one to take it off. ;)

That looks like a wonderful summer for you! And so great to have such a connection with you sister. I always wished I had a sister, I think that would be great!

Sister love is great. I am thankful that my two daughters will be able to share a little sista' love (fun times together, just the two of them) when they are older!

My cousin and I look exactly alike also. People often ask if we are twins we're so similar.
Hope you are having luck with the house hunting!

You're fabulous! You and your sister are beautiful. I just wanted to tell you how much of an inspiration you've been to me. I had never sewn a stitch of clothing until I came upon your blog. I now own two sewing machines AND a serger! I have all of your patterns and I can't wait for more! Thank you for sharing your talent with the world.

I haven't seen Harry Potter yet (I must be the only one in the world). Can't wait though!

Um, you both look 14. Beautiful skin and beautiful hair. I would kill for that. And add your creativity and I'm getting a bit jealous and depressed. :( I also think that the photos of your sister make her look a bit like a fair haired version of Heather Bailey. Same mouth or chin or something. So maybe all you creative types are related....hmmm....

You are both lovely as can be! I have wavy hair too, but you are lucky with your blond, mine is brunette. :)
The shoes are such an eyecatcher!
Enjoy the movie!
