Ethan has a new set of wheels to bring a smile to his face. A few weeks ago, I was dropping off one of the many, many loads of stuff I have donated lately to the local thrift store. Now, reason would say that when you are dropping stuff off because you are moving and trying to cut down, not to go in and look around. But go in we did and saw a vintage Radio Flyer marked $5. The wheels were broken, but one phone call to Radio Flyer and $10 later, it's as good as new - only better.
Look how proud he looks!
No radio flyer bike would be complete without the bell, naturally:
Ethan's new bike has accompanied him to Missoula this week along with his sister and her bike too.
Because..
INSANITY is about to break loose in our house. Actually, who am I kidding? It's always like that, but I prefer it that way. But this next week may actually take the word to a new level.
Things going on in my world:
Just finalized the prints for my next collection! Here you go, a sneak, just for you.
What? You can't see anything but Eliza??? How did that happen? :) OK, here's a little bit better of one..
Coming..uh..soon. Not available to order yet I don't think, it will be a few months still before it starts showing up, but it's mighty pretty if I may so not humbly say myself. (??) Lot's of fun things to expect with this collection, stay tuned.
Tuesday, Dustin and I will be off for Girl's Camp. Yes, Dustin is braving camping with about 100 teenage girls for 4 days. He's even leading a hike for the 12 year olds! What a keeper. We get back Friday and then...
We move. On Saturday. Yikes! I don't think I ever made mention of it here, but we found a great house and I can't wait to start moving in. It's sad to leave our home of the last 7 years but it will be great to be closer to our families. Both Dustin's parent and my mom live in Missoula! And all my siblings which will be good fun.
Then, after an insane fury of move, move, move, unpack, unpack, unpack, I need to finish up my book. And the new patterns that are about ready to go to the printer. They'll make their debut right around the time of Fall Market in October.
Then... hmm. I don't know? I'm sure I'll find something to fill up my time. :)
Wish me luck this week! I'm going to be out of touch by phone and email until about Tuesday of next
week. If you need to talk with someone regarding patterns, please contact Jodi (my mom!)
at jbrown759@aol.com She handles all our shipping and invoicing and can help
you out!

I just have to say... I absolutely love your Ginger Blossoms fabric! I've just made 6 handbags with it as well as a wall hanging quilt for my hair salon. Next I will make some large throw cushions for the salon as well as a table skirt for the reception desk. I can't get enough of it!!

You certainly are busy at the moment! The sneak peak at the new fabric looks good, and I love that new trike... I can't believe it was only $5 - it looks like it's in pretty good condition except for the wheel that needed replacing.

Sandi, I just picked up some of your fabric and am Really enjoying it. I made myself a wall hanging to brighten up my drab dining room wall and I made a cute little skirt for my daughter with some of it as the trim. Thought you might enjoy seeing what people are creating with your creations... here is my blog address

Love RadioFlyer - looks great and he does look so proud of his new bike. Love what little I see of the fabric - what a nice little tease.

Oh Pretty! I can't wait to see the new fabrics!
And good news about the Radio Flyer wheels. Some horrible teenagers rode on Ahnalin's Radio Flyer tricycle and broke the wheels. So I am glad to hear I can get replacement wheels. Thanks for the tip.
I pray you have a great week at camp!
