I know that when I start getting the emails saying "is everything okay?" that it has been too long since my last post. :) Thank you for checking in on me, everything is A-O-K around here. We're just caught up in one of those working flurries right now. Finishing the photography for my book (I've even stepped in FRONT of the camera for a bit) and clearing the dust after the holidays.
I can't wait to show you Eliza's dollhouse and Ethan's teepee tent. It was a fabulous Christmas. Excuse me for a few more days, and I'll take down the Christmas decorations on the blog and get back to a bit of a more regular blogging pace.
I've decided that I need to share more of my cooking here this year - I love cooking and don't know why I've never brought it on here much before. 2009 was the year of getting healthy for me, learning how to cook well was a really important part of that for me. I rang in the new year by making my first pot of homemade chicken stock - it smelled heavenly.
Here's a wee sneak from one of the photoshoots we did this week.
See you soon!

what a beautiful photograph Sandi ! You have an Elizabeth Bennett look about you! Happy New Year!

I made homemade stock for the first time this holiday, too. It was one of those kitchen tasks that had been forever shrouded in mystery, but I'm learning that there are lots of simple pleasures hidden there.

The chicken looks divine but you look ravishing! I cannot wait for your new book. :) I'm using a bit of Meadowsweet in my latest strip club quilt and all I can say is that it is the juiciest quilt ever! I'm trying to figure out how I can get some in every quilt I make this year. I just love that line!

You look so very feminine and pretty in that photo. I am eager to see your recipes. I love cooking even more than sewing.

Sandi. I must say that you look lovely!! I saw this post earlier and the little photo of you on your page now. I have to know what you use on your curly locks. I have curly locks too and in a world of stick straight hair...I love seeing people enjoy them! Please let me know what hair products you use...Hugs.
