We just had our first week of school. Combine waking up earlier than I have since school got out and the obligatory first cold of the season and this week has had me bushed. But this odd thing happened. Literally on the first day of school, fall just sort of arrived.
I love fall.
It is definitely my favorite. I have toyed around with the idea of designing a collection entirely around this fantastic state of weather / being. I would want to call it Indian Summer, since it is the change from summer to fall that I love so much. Maybe some day.
Fall crafting & sewing has begun. Come back Monday for the pattern.

It was like that here too (Northern Utah) Fall suddenly appeared, and I happily welcomed it.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well .. I came down with something too. Only good thing is I get to curl up in warm sweaters and eat chicken soup. But a walk down the lane in the crisp autumn air was out of the question tonight. Hope you're better soon!

I think everyone loves fall! My hubby and I were married in the fall for that very reason. The weather is fantastic and football season...hello! Can't wait to see what you have to share with us!

I hope your end of summer cold does not stay to long! The days do seem to be getting shorter, but we are still hot and humid here in the south east.

I think your most recent fabric line is very fallish. No? I was actually just thinking the other day how I'm ready to sew with it, and when it came out I really wasn't (don't mean this in a bad way), it just seemed very autumnal with the greens/oranges/browns.

Get well soon. It seemed as though someone hit a switch here in Minnesota and turned fall on. I just hope it doesn't mean we'll get an early and extra long winter.
