Is it too late for a market recap? Hope not, cause here I go.
But before that, thank you for the kind comments on my last post. That's all I can really say about it right now, thank you. :)
Also, I've had a few nudges to update my blog design with a Secret Garden theme. (You guys didn't like the Valentines Day banner in the beginning of June? huh) No, you're right. It's been on "the list" and is now updated. Come in from your reader to take a peek if you please!
OK. Market. Go.
I packed my camera all the way to Salt Lake and when I took it out to document the whole thing, realized my camera card never made it with the camera. So these photos are thankfully lended from Amy, Calli, and Erika.
We won first place for best booth in our size this time around which was really nice. (even though I think they probably throw everyones names into a hat box and randomly draw, because everyone does such an amazing job!)
I did a short schoolhouse and promptly lost my voice 10 minutes in. As in, GONE. So we had whispered conversations over the cute samples. Speaking of my samples, I had a huge amount of help in sewing to get ready for this market and need to share some close up shots of the lovelies and sing the praises of my fabulous helpers (thank you so much helpers!!) If it's okey dokey with you, I'll make next week Secret Garden sample week? And continued "new stuff" show & tell.
We have a big 2 day photoshoot this weekend for my next book, so I need to go cook. Yes, this book is part cookbook!
I hope you are enjoy the lovely warming weather wherever you may be!
Sandi

Your new fabric is just divine! The booth looks amazing - the "wallpaper" is a lovely touch.
I too am digging the amazing dress in the second picture.
I would love a dress like that, but sadly I think my ill-defined-waist would probably mean that a dress like that would not love me.

Love the new fabric!
I have a problem with an order I placed with you. Is there anyway you can check one of your email accounts for one of the many emails I have sent?
Thanks,

Your booth looks lovely - I wish I could have been there to see it IRL! I'm curious about that embroidered picture that we can see a part of in the photo of your prize ribbons (congratulations, by the way!) - did you make it? Can we see the whole thing, please? :-)

Love the fabric!! I, too, have sent many emails inquiring about a pattern I purchased in December!! Just wondering if the emails are getting sent to the wrong place!

It looks as though we are all coveting the dress pattern! Can I add a plea as to whether there is a pattern for the Childrens dresses featured? I would love to make some of those and can never find such cute designs! Love you work, have followed your inspiring blog for years, thank you! Jennifer

This is where the problem lies-when emergency or unexpected expenses occur; they have no choice but to make amendments on their budgets.
