Hello everyone!
I hope my December absence wasn't too badly missed, and you enjoyed the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways. I've missed writing in this space, but a plethora of things have kept me from here that I just won't go in to. (Move.. Flu.. Move.. Christmas.. Book.. Fabric.. etc..) Oops. I went into it, didn't I?
Wanted to share a project with you that seems forever old, but better late than never.
I found this old can carrier at a yard sale this summer with the price tag of $1. It was pretty hideous, and the funniest part of it was the phrase at the bottom. "I'm too busy to be organized."
Ha. I got a good chuckle over that phrase being inscribed on this cool organizer. Who has the time to graffiti the crap out of their organizer but then not use it?
I tried to clean the wood, but that graffiti was done in permanent marker and didn't want to let up, no matter how hard I scrubbed. So I went with paint, and gave it a nice clean coat of cream. Mod podge, fabric and a little more spray paint later.. and...
I sprayed the insides of the can also to save them from rusting. So far so good.
To help ring in the new year, we are having a sale on the website (see the last post, go here to check it out.) Are you on our newsletter list? The newletter guys got a 24 hour heads up notice.. :)
Also, I have joined the land of Facebook. If you want to "like" me, check out our new page here.

Ah! I love it. I've got some other things that need some spray painting. I might have to hang on to some cans and scrap wood to make one myself! Thanks for sharing, Sandi :-)

Some things fade away, people to see his glory, which is kind of silver lining is kind of unfortunate.

Looks great! I use #10 cans decorated with scrapbook paper to organize my craft room. I love it because it's cheap, cute, and easy to find what I need.

Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.gh
