Just sharing a quick shot from my current sketchbook. (Which I bound myself! Awfully proud - don't think I'll ever buy another sketchbook.)
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend. If you have the time and haven't seen it yet, check out Sherlock Holmes. The filmography and costume design are reason enough to go see it. It was visually stunning..

That's so true. I was at my parents' place during Christmas and had to run to their little backyard 'suite' to get something out of the fridge. There is a garden along the path and behold a rose bush with 3 roses still blooming. Barely, but they were. Everything else is dead but there were 3 dying but still alive roses. It actually made me catch my breath in wonder. Just thought I'd share.... :-)

Some things fade away, people to see his glory, which is kind of silver lining is kind of unfortunate.

Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

I once created a water color art book. It is a great idea to keep those ideas forever.

My DH and I went to see Sherlock Holmes around Christmas. You're right; it's gorgeous! In fact, I especially loved Watson's scarf. So much so, in fact, that I spent hours trolling the boards on Ravelry and zooming in on screenshots to count stitches. Guess what my hubby's getting for Valentine's Day, lol?

That picture is called Art. I agree sometimes not all blooming things are better than dying.
